An alternative plan for Eskom

Eskom is planning on increasing electricity bills by 34% if their application is successful. This will mean for the economy in the long term as the country will be able to sustain the growing demand.

Is this justifying to the granny that is leaving on a monthly old age grant? What is going to happen to the living standards of the poor that are dominating this country? What is going to happen to job at corporate level as they try to cut down on cost? Is this good to halving unemployment by 2014?

Eskom should segregate it market in terns of who consumes the most. There are those that do not deserve to be hit this hard. If it goes through we might see an increase the gap between the poor and the rich.
